I assume there is a secret Doug Liman fan club in this forum.

Most of his movies are bad but there are some I enjoyed when I saw them. Swingers, Bourne, Edge of Tomorrow. Everything else I either haven’t seen or it was pretty bad

i generally like Chris Ryan but his Liman fascination is one of his more odd takes

I'm the only person who saw Fair Game and no one's gonna rewatch it now because of the anti-semitism

Practically every chain has their own subscription service now. Would anyone even want moviepass anymore?

using a list is so much less anxiety provoking , movie pass was like using a gift card and you can't remember if there's money on it

  17. At MoviePass’ peak, there was nothing better. I literally live right across the street from a Megaplex theater, so when I could see unlimited movies, I’d go over there constantly. I’d see every movie in there regardless if I wanted to actually see it or not, just for something to do.

If Moviepass comes back and it’s even close to being that cool again, hell yeah I will get it. Absolutely.

Megaplex theaters have a MegaPass thing, but you only get 2 movie tickets a month. Mehhhh.

Moviepass locked me out of my account for like a month once because they said I was logged into multiple devices, which was a lie, and then all those stories came out after it went down about how they would lock users out of their accounts if they were using the service a lot and I’m not over that lost month

I would not be surprised if no theater chain agrees to accept MoviePass should it try to come back. Especially the chains that have their own subscription services like AMC.

Moviepass ended up creating so much bad blood and bad press, I’m surprised they aren’t trying to rebrand it under a different name.

A-List is pretty much perfect but MoviePass (when it worked for that couple of months) was next level bc you could use it everywhere including Alamo and the arthouse and independent theaters. I even got into an film festival with it.

But yeah, no way the chains that already have their own services will accept it now.
