I mean, it's fine to prefer Mountain Dew to wine too if that's how you really feel. The really absurd statement was that liking wine:

I did an experiment with Baja Blast and tequila once on a Taco Bell run and it was drinkable. But on its own, it's also bad.

I tend to prefer restaurants that serve Pepsi products to Coke products because of Mountain Dew. For some reason, chicken restaurants tend to favor Pepsi while pizza places tend to favor Coke.
