you’re looking at an already obnoxious and violent crowd and you’re telling them to tear down a tower and literally destroy the stage/grounds. being incredibly generous, best case scenario, durst is a brain dead moron. worst case scenario, he didn’t give a shit what was happening in the crowd and incited a riot.

I mean, Fred didn't do anything to calm people down, but I don't think he incited a riot. People were still burning the place down 48 hours after Fred left the stage. They were without water or bathrooms. I just think on the list of people to blame, Fred should be further down.

I have hated Ben Dreyfuss for a long time because he is a typical centrist liberal who for some reason was editing a magazine named after Mother Jones and he did not understand why that was a bad thing.

 

Moonlight is close to perfect. Maybe my favorite theater experience.
