I would legitimately like to know what people got from that Justice League trailer. It just made me laugh at it. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT PEOPLE THINK THIS IS GOING TO BE.

  8. I don't think my parents ever actively monitored what I watched. They were immigrants(/refugees) and English was their second language, so my brother and I were mostly on our own when it came to seeking out media to consume.

I watched Reservoir Dogs in my twenties, going back to it after having watched a lot of other Tarantino. But like, I was probably 11-13 when I first watched Elfen Lied...

My daughter’s 12, will be 13 in early December. She ain’t used to something this dialogue-driven but so far she’s liking it

I was 12 for my first theatrical R-rated film when I went with my mom & grandmother to see The Birdcage. My daughter was 11 when she saw her first R-rated movie in the theater, which was Us

Your Highness is on HBO right now. I forgot how many names were in this movie. How the hell did they convince Charles Dance, Zooey Deschanel, Justin Thoreaux,Natalie Portman, Damian Lewis, etc. to do this film which is clearly something McBride and Franco cooked up when high one night? Lol

I remember renting Your Highness with my uncle. We made it like 30 minutes before giving up.

I didn’t do it. Decided if I’m going back to a theater, it might as well be for something new.

would you have gone if you knew you were the only one in the theater for that showtime?

I mean if I'm being completely honest, I just didn't really feel like going on the day. I work 50 hours a week in a grocery store and I'm constantly around people in a store that is circulating air. I'll probably see Tenet in theaters (still probably at like 10am on a Wednesday) when they open up theaters here.

How about this for a rule; until there's a vaccine, only essential workers are allowed to go to theaters? :crylaugh:

My company (won't say what it is but it's a very large grocery company) is actually cutting hours now, despite making more money than they've ever made in their existence. They long ago got rid of our "hero bonus."

  20. The new 2 episode mini-series about Laurel Canyon was great. More thorough than the Echo in the Canyon doc.

The episode of Frasier called “Merry Christmas, Ms. Moskowitz” might be the funniest sitcom episode I’ve ever seen. Every aspect of it is perfect. The set pieces are written so well and everyone does a great job, particularly Niles.

Is that the one where he does all the physical comedy?

Niles in particular, yeah, but there’s a decent amount of physical comedy in Frasier in general.

I don't think it's this episode, but there's one where it's like three stories, and his is the first, and he just done an insane amount of physical comedy during his story (where I think he's on a first date or something).

Oh okay, haha. Yeah, he’s ironing his pants before a date. That’s a different episode but a great silent scene with only Niles.
