Before Trilogy getting Criterion release

I've watched Always Shine. Waiting for the weekend to watch American Honey since it's almost 3 hours.

Always Shine was good though.

 

A co-worker I like asked me to go to Rogue One with him tonight. How do I tell him I would prefer not to and not hurt his feelings since he thinks everyone likes Star Wars?

 

You could just tell him that you're not interested in Star Wars.

 

why do so many venues still not accept cards when buying tickets at the door?
credit card surcharges? bands seem fine with swiping a square for merch.
having cash on-hand for promoters to pay out? I was still able to buy my ticket online after I got turned down for using my card, but maybe that was a fluke.

The trailer was absolutely absurd. I think I said this in that thread, but I'm shocked this a movie a studio put out in 2016. Looks like something they would have done in 1997.

 

or like something Tracy Jordan or Adam Sandler's character in Funny People would make to try to look serious

 

I saw this film two months ago early in the morning at 10 AM at a WB Screening room and thought it was good. I wrote my entire review in an old journal.
A month later I lost that journal at the theater I saw Moana at and completely forgot about the film. I knew I had to watch it again to refresh my memory. I took a friend last night and went to the actual world premiere of the film and through the movie the review just came to me and then I erased nearly everything good I had because the smell of the cheese was so damn strong.

It's not the worst thing I've seen this year but it's a short Hallmark movie with nothing but A list actors

 

This needs a Back to the Future reference too haha

I've only seen one episode

 

I've seen the first season, would have to buy the rest to see it all

 

I reviewed the Love Witch, it's an occult feminist movie about a witch who seduces men, then kills them when they inevitably disappoint her. It's the most unique experience I had in a movie theater this year, beautiful and strange and engrossing.
