haven't seen it yet, but i think Babes might fall into that category

 

Pretty much this. The big budget theatrical released comedy is basically extinct. Yeah, we've gotten a handful of great comedies the past few years but we used to get that many or more in a single year. Streamers really haven't helped the problem either for a million other reasons.

 

not to mention that so many comedies being released directly to streamers (particularly on Netflix) feel forgettable and low-effort, and don't receive the marketing push that could get them viewers.

 

I am currently watching Stuart Little for the first time and it just keeps making me angrier. Some poor kid is denied a family and all the safety and security because of it so they can adopt a mouse? Why not a mouse and a kid at once? The mouse even gets his own bedroom? Are the parents the antagonists?

 

Lol I don't think I've seen that one since it was in theaters

 

Hugh Laurie's face is way too smooth in this movie. It is really hard to watch.
