I am usually a pretty honest person, but I was at the theater last night and they have the self-serving drink machines but there was no one watching so I filled my cup up with ICEE instead of soda. I was nervous I was going to get arrested during the entire movie.

 

I thought soft drink and icee were the same cup...

 

They are but you pay a premium for ICEE.

 

None of those workers care what you’re putting in the cup

 

I wonder how many 16 year olds that are getting paid minimum wage would go into a conflict with a customer for something like that. You can probably go take a popcorn bag, they never check, they don't care.

 

Wouldn’t doubt it if some do actually cause a scene though. There were always the kids that ratted out the class when the teacher forgot about the homework. So it’s not that unlikely those same kids might work at a movie theater and take that shit way too seriously.

 

there's always someone that cares way too much. the usher at AMC refused to let me in with my water bottle despite having been let in with it no less than 100 other times at every other AMC theater in the metroplex

When I was a teenager I worked as a waiter at Steak 'N Shake. A customer only had American Express and couldn't pay so I told them I would have to go get the manager but I was going to walk really slowly. They understood.
