In all honesty, one of my good friends went to a showing of Phantom Menace on Friday. Lot of people in cosplay. Good vibes. Plus, rep screenings of Star Wars are helping our local indie theater. I get the cynicism, but happy that it has some positives.

well Josh dresses like Jar Jar daily so at least one.

 

Jar Jar is one of the best things to come from movies.

Challengers could never.

I really want to see Topher Grace's edit where it's all three movies and the only thing he took from Phantom Menace is the Darth Maul fight

Even Machete Order ignores phantom menace. I have grown to appreciate it more as I got older but I never choose to watch the prequel trilogy if I wanna watch Star Wars. Clone wars series is the best thing of that era.

 

See and I’m the kind of Star Wars fan that doesn’t care at all about anything animated

yes. Clearly the superior movie IMO.

yes awesome to see Yoda in action and all that, but the movie overall is the worst in the franchise besides 9 IMO

 

you can condense clone wars into like 50-60 episodes and it would be excellent. Rebels is excellent. Batch batch is very good.

I mean without commercials they are 20 min episodes.

convincing people to watch the animated shows is an uphill battle unless they are huge fans of Star Wars, I get it. But there is some incredible stuff in there.
