The Bob Marley trailer walked so the Amy Winehouse one could run. I’ve seen it three times this week.

 

The Any Winehouse trailer is bad but I’d watch it 50 times if it meant I didn’t have to see the Bob Marley trailer.

Timed my arrival for Zone of Interest 15mins after the ticket start time. 1 Trailer no Bob. The anxiety executing this plan induced was not worth it.

Subtitle setting couldve use some tweaking

 

It is hard to make it just right. The two AMC theaters around here can be up to half an hour of ads but the smaller chain theater can be less than fifteen minutes.

 

Yes popularity and time of day factor in. Evening session for Napolean was 30+, Poor Things 15mins, Fast X & Barbie middle of Tuesday 12mins.

My local AMC is almost always exactly 20 minutes and I can bank on that. Other theaters, I do not play it that close.

 

My local regal consistently has 25 minutes, but sometimes they don’t start the trailers even until 10+ minutes after show time

 

Doesn't Pixar usually have a short before the movie? They showed one before Turning Red when I went last week

Anyway, Soul was really good! A very melancholic but also hopeful meditation on life and death

 

It should’ve had one called Burrow before it

 

How the fuck is there another new walking dead show? Who is still watching that shit?

 

Is AMC just an endless Walking Dead marathon the same way that MTV is just endless hours of Ridiculousness

 

I have a letterboxd but always forget to log shit but I don’t really care

I just watch movies and then when they're done, I forget everything about them

 

I’ve been logging every movie I’ve seen since 2018 on Letterboxd.

 

I used to collect every ticket stub and then we went all digital like a bunch of dinks.

Nearly a full house for a Terminator 2 screening. It is usually just me and a half dozen elderly people for these kinds of things.

 

It’s kind of a pain in the ass if there’s a line but you can always ask them to print you a ticket. I usually do if it’s a movie I really care about
