And she's gonna let it burn.

Burn is what started me down my path to adoration.

For me it was Salt Skin. I downloaded Bright Lights because Lights and Starry Eyed were jams, but Salt Skin was the one that really pulled me in. That whole album, with the exception of The Writer, is pretty perfect for me.

The Writer is my favorite song on that album, haha. I knew Ellie Goulding songs but didn't know they were hers (Starry Eyed, Lights) for quite awhile for some odd reason.

I love The Writer. Never really liked Burn all that much, I think that was the start of me not really liking her stuff much actually.

Burn was actually the first song of hers I liked. I can't stand her first album at all, honestly don't like Halcyon, but am into the new one. I know I'm not the norm here

I love Halcyon. It took me a while to get into Delirium but I really like it now.

But fcuk her for not having the regular edition of Halycon on Apple Music because that's the version I have and it never shows up on my phone.

I wish I liked her voice more. I really like a lot of her songs, but I just don't love the tone and quality of her voice.

i was this exact way til this album, I think it's grown significantly less obnoxious for me

I don't feel it's obnoxious, it's just grating to me. I listened to Delirium and liked it but couldn't stop wishing all the songs were sung by someone else

I guess grating and obnoxious are interchangeable for me in this specific case, either way I totally get what you are saying because I've had that mindset forever. For whatever reason, this album fixed it for me

Apparently "Keep On Dancing" is the next single

@Nick I'm honestly surprised you didn't try to add me on Facebook and send me the lyrics there, too. I laughed, though, well done. Just because it's not my favorite doesn't mean I can't enjoy it for what it is!

  25. Still trying to give Delirium another chance but I can't listen to the whole thing. It just sounds so lifeless and repetitive.
