I've come around on COD that was a good demo.

 

The greatest conference that E3 has ever seen.

 

Fitting too, since EA's was arguably the worst.

 

Let's tone it down a bit, it wasn't mindblowing outside of the first 30 minutes.

I think the only other conference that can match this was last year and I think this was better.

 

Hard to say, I'm coming down off an adrenaline high so give me a little bit and ask me again later hahaha.

 

There's a great Gravity Rush 2 trailer out too.

 

I agree in regards to the most of the non VR games. PSVR comes out this holiday and they need to tell people why they should buy them. It's a press conference and if it's just gonna be a bunch of trailers, just throw them on youtube.

 

Haha seriously? I need watch the replay I suppose, although looking down the list of games not too much calls to me...

 

Nah man I'm with you. It was stellar.

 

Last years Sony conference was better.

 

So this is what Capcom has to say about the new RE's plot:

Man, I'm all kinds of hype for that. It's also going to be first person and VR mode is supported from the very start, with the ability to play the entire game in VR from the start if you so wish.

 

I viewed the VR stuff more like one piece in itself, basically Sony teasing going look we've got cool franchises tied in with out VR now. It was More to peak interesting their VR for people to buy that rather than to sell preorders for the games.

I'm sure they'll be much more stuff to come out in the next few months

 

Seems like a spiritual successor to 1.

 

I liked the press conference and it got me pretty hyped for some games but I feel like it was missing something.

Edit: And I'd say it was the best of E3

 

The close was a total let down, big believer in saving something gigantic for the end.

 

Spiderman insomniac game, RE7 NON DUDEBRO EDITION, God of War 4, Detroit, Horizon, Crash remaster, Last Guardian and more. New Kojima game. Best E3 conf in years

As someone who has never been interested/liked God of War, that trailer looks pretty fucking cool.

 

Nah, these trailers are going to get so many more views than they would if they just put them up on YouTube and having them all together in an e3 conference makes everything so much more special.

The VR thing just doesn't show well in a conference or trailer and wasting time trying to explain things on stage just kills the momentum I think and never works out well. They need to be experienced I think so might as well just show teases that give you an idea of what it'll be like I think.

 

I think in terms of ranking, I'd go something like this. Keep in mind I can't really get excited for PS games.

Ubisoft - PS - Microsoft - Bethesda - EA.

Totally. I'm super curious right now, this feels like P.T when it came out and no one knew what it was about.

 

It's the games and the way it was done. Live orchestra. No waffling on and on about stuff. Game after game. God of War, Horizon, The Last Guardian, REVII, Kojima's reveal and maybe even Spiderman did more for me than anything else this e3, haha.
