My wife and I just got in from the bar. There's this Chinese restaurant in my town that's in an old mansion, and they let their son take over part of it and start his own bar. I love it. He was on the cover of GQ and named best bartender in America. It's such a random hidden gem north of Boston. I don't drink often but once I'm there I just indulge. It resulted in us playing "cuts like a knife" by Bryan Adams 3 times in a row when we got home. It's been fun.

 

Currently enjoying some amaaaazing Thai food while watching old school Hollywood documentaries. Also vodka. All of the vodka

Seems like it's been a while, friends...

 

I find it hard to believe no one has been drunk since January 28th

 

Very true... Buncha slackers around here. (me included)

 

Its NBA all star weekend so I'm sure I will be in here all Saturday nite

 

I tried really hard to post in here a couple of times when I was drunk and I couldn't really work my phone open cause I kept slipping on the pattern

 

Drank 2 bottles of wine on tuesday, but was too distracted watching The Golden Girls to post in here

there's a lot less available alcohol at college than i was led to believe

 

I'll be in Grand Rapids tomorrow almost all day for the purpose of drinking. Oh man.

 

It's gotta just depend on the town I guess. There was TONS here.

 

Oh for sure, my college isn't in what anyone would call a college town. Most people here go to the actual party college like an hour and a half away if they're looking

 

There was a man named JamBox Dan who rode his bike around the town where I went to college. He had a boom box duct taped to the handle bars and lights and just a straight pimped out bike and he was around 60 when I first met him. You have to go outside the city limits which was like a 20 min drive to get liquor and you couldn't buy alcohol at all on sundays.

So JamBox Dan made a KILLING off of us kids who would drink all their booze on sat night and he would sell it to us on sundays for a profit (rip off lol) but every now and then he'd have some new gadget added to his bike from selling booze. He was goddamn brilliant if you ask me. A fixture at GSU until a few years ago when he got sick and too old to do it anymore.

 

What an entrepreneur
