Yep. Based on that and his recent insta stories, I'd expect an announcement of it by the fall to coincide with their touring, At least that's what he implied.

ep is sick! this band continues to evolve & I think their new lp has the potential of a masterpiece

now if we could only get more Self Defense material pleaseeeee

I’m mad curious as to how people not familiar with SDF is gonna react to them on the Thrice tour

 

Pat has also mentioned there's a ton of Self Defense material in the works - some of which just needs vocals. He's been relatively cryptic about it tbh. They also have a live record from their August 2019 shows done waiting for a release.

 

I had no idea they are opening for Thrice - wild!!

I think a lot of people will be scratching their heads but a solid 15% will love them & will be converted

They toured with Thrice and mewithoutyou for a bit after Thrice released Palms and they were well received at the show I went to
