Wild that this is the first episode to go below 1 fork. It'a probably the kitchen preparing the food, but I've had Tyga Bites a couple of times and genuinely thought it was really solid. Can confirm the parmesan garlic sauce was foul, though.

maybe it’s cus it hasn’t been open a year and has some new franchise sheen to it, but i got charley’s for lunch today and my scores would have been very different

the loaded fries and strawberry lemonade were pretty great too

I had Firehouse for dinner. I'd only had it once or twice before and that was like 5+ years ago. I wasn't impressed, tbh. I ordered an Italian, one of the meats was oddly super sweet (the honey ham, I suppose). I'd probably prefer a cold Italian anyway. 2.25 forks.

I think Jersey Mike's is the clear favorite. Not sure how regional it is, but Schlotzsky's is the only sandwich chain I personally think could go up against Jersey Mike's.

 

Smokehouse beef and cheddar is the best from firehouse

 

Imma try that next time. I actually had a few people say that, but Italian is usually my go to so I wanted to try that first.
