There was a Canes that opened up in a mall up here in Portland, then 4 months later the pandemic happened and they’ve been closed since.

Yep, got in there a few months before COVID. It was gud! I don't remember being blown away but it was definitely above average.

 

Yeah loved the Simpsons game, good ep

 

Half hour in and finding this episode incredibly boring. There’s like a weird lull every time the guest stops talking, like the boys just zoned out during his weird chicken tournament talk.

 

Selman kind of has a lazy energy that I think works better in a studio than on Zoom. It is just kind of a okay episode.

 

Now I gotta watch How High before Tuesday. 100% chance it's better than the Snyder Cut lol

 

I like Selman, he's very enthusiastic about the show

 

Our first Shake Shack opens here tomorrow. I’m pathetically excited to finally try it.

My friends would have a Christmas Eve brunch every year and we’d watch how high.

 

Its an insane movie and I'm glad I watched it when they talked about it last time.

There are like 5 completely bizarre things that happen in that movie, at least, and I love Shaun Diston.

 

It's about as problematic as you'd expect a 2001 college comedy to be, but How High is so insane that it's kinda hard not to like lol

To prep for the 4/20 High and Mighty tonight I went a little ahead and listen to the live Torchy’s Tacos episode with Gabrus and it might be my favorite episode so far. It’s when the self-suck came to DB from H&M.

 

That whole Texas tour is probably my favourite run of episodes.
