One of my first jobs was at Baskin Robbins, and I got in trouble numerous times for not making the shakes properly. If you did it by the book they were watery bullshit, I was embarrassed to serve someone that. All my customers got thicc boys.

A frappe is a coffee milkshake right? Mitch constantly talks about frappes acting like people know he’s just talking about a regular milkshake lol

 

I'm a life-long new englander and I have never ordered a frappe

 

The way they talked about frappes made it seem like the word was interchangeable with milkshake and doesn't require coffee as a component. Idk I've only ever heard the word "frappe" in the context of, like, Starbucks lol

 

Yeah the only frappe I’ve ever had was at Starbucks. Mitch throws it around all the time like everyone knows what it is.

 

Oxford Dictionary defines "frappe" as "a drink served with ice or frozen to a slushy consistency".

So technically a milkshake is a frappe because it is "a drink . . . frozen to a slushy consistency"?

But it almost makes it seem like it's supposed to be a frappe like from Starbucks or McDonald's where ice is a component. So idk.

 

just read an article that says in new england, a milkshake is a "chocolate milk blended to high heaven". i have truly never heard that before. maybe its regional to boston and they just apply it to "all of new england", like most things

She seemed very nice and funny but a couple of the bits (the waterslide bit in particular) got obnoxious/grating

 

I’m a half hour in and I’d say Arden is already top tier for me, I’d welcome her to Pittsburgh but people gotta realize you could just put French fries on a sandwich anywhere. And it’d be better than primantis

 

Yeah I’m listening to the new ep now and I like Arden. The water slide bit is very strange lol.

 

Primanti’s is over hyped but I do enjoy it.
