i mean i get fries. they're probably the single most iconic American fast food item. but they're so inconsistent, anywhere from totally soggy to crisp as fuck, and even at their best they're 80 percent salt and 10 percent embalming fluid.

Lmao Nick going through the rules in the exact same cadence has been my favorite part of every episode.

the last half hour of this ep was fucking majestic

that was the hardest and most sincere sounding i’ve heard nick laugh (at hardee’s tiara)

 

I think Paul Rust is my favorite guest.

 

This was pure carnage and pure joy. The 3-2-1, badaa ba pa pa syncing was hilarious

 

Yeah, even recorded remotely, this was a fantastic ep.

 

Why don't they put up the Zoom video? Or do they do that on Patreon?

 

I've tried asking why they don't do something like that, or upload videos of the eps on youtube. I would listen to the pod AND watch

yeah first 40 mins or so of this was rough but once they got accustomed to everyone's delay to the extent that was possible it became all time amazing

 

a lowkey highlight to me amidst a bunch of bigger things was Paul just genuinely mentioning how funny he thinks Susser is lol

 

I genuinely don’t think any of it was tough to listen to. If anything, they all reveled in the chaos. The phone calls with Grimace and Paul saying “this sucks” at the tail end of Wiger’s song both made me pause the episode so I could stop laughing.
