I’m watching their Tiny Desk Concert and it makes me even sadder. Easily one of my favorite women in music ever.

 

It will be worse if it comes out that she passed from an overdose. I have no belief that she was an addict, but those medications they prescribe people for things like chronic back issues have a history of not being able to mix with other meds. She had been traveling, and all the strain from traveling on someone with chronic back pain could've had her seek out temporary help from doctors she normally doesn't see. Who knows. This is a very big loss in my world of music, and it comes at the worst time.
