He was never the best choice, I still don’t understand why people have been fancasting him so hard for so long. It has to just be residual Office obsession because nothing else makes sense to me.

I think he has a pretty large fanbase from “The Office” and “A Quiet Place”. My sister couldn’t get enough of Some Good News when he did that. Either way, weird casting for a potential series that really needs personality. He didn’t leave any impression on me.

Just my personal take, if we're strictly going by appearance, I think he at least looked very much the part, and I have to assume part of the fancasting is based on that.

some good news was one of the corniest things of early lockdown, maybe only topped by the imagine video

Nothing is worse than the Imagine video

If we're just talking a throwaway, fan service cameo, I would've preferred them get Gruffudd back

Right. If they brought back Anson Mount why not him too.

Oh, weird? It was a bit of (I assume) fan art by Marvel artist Russell Dauterman, who drew Mighty Thor and currently does a lot of costume designs & covers for them.

It was an update of a previous piece he’d done, using the character model he used for a costume variant cover at Marvel, and the previous version of the piece wasn’t deleted:

Here’s a tweet with the official cover with that character model, along with a few others he’s done in this line of covers:

Me and the wife had a nice date night while the grandparents watched the kids so decided to catch this finally. Avoided almost all spoilers and this is the first marvel movie I’ve seen in theaters since IW. Very much enjoyed it and Sam brought it.

That Illuminati fight scene reminded me of Invincible.

Shoutout Morbius making it on the list

Including Morbius but not the Venom movies is incredibly odd. Venom at least visitors the MCU.

Also, his list is mostly very bad. But, he did get the bottom movie right.
