I mean it's fine. A lot of them, such as this movie and Captain Marvel are some of Marvel's most embarrassing pieces of content ever made.

Then there's Winter Soldier which is #1.

90% of the films are in a fine range that differentiating between them seems pointless.

Not fine: Thor, Thor 2, Incredible Hulk

    Good: Iron Man (1-3), The Avengers (1,3,4), Cap (1-3), Ant-Man, Doctor Strange 1, Guardians 2, Spider-Man (1&3), Thor 3, Black Panther, Shang-Chi

Fine: whichever films I didn’t mention

They had ALL OF TIME to mess with in Loki and that's the story they chose to tell?

I don't need a 14 minute conversation on a traincar where nothing happens that whole episode

Loki examining who he is and who he wants to be, Owen Wilson, Richard E Grant, Kang

Loki is a pretty entertaining and rewarding show, imo.

This was fine. 6.5/10. The script was trash. That said, I was entertained, I just wish I didn’t go in with high expectations for this to be a supernatural horror film. It was pretty tame imo, but really good from a cinematography standpoint. I love Wanda. She deserves a better story.

yeah the Wanda characterization and motivation made no sense and maybe it was just me but between her being the villain and all the multiverse stuff the stakes felt a little bit lower, I think part of it is that Elizabeth Olsen has such delicate features that the whole time I was like she doesn't scare me
plus she didn't think to ask Steven if he knew a spell that could help with her trauma

A spell that can help a mother deal with the trauma of losing her children?

As a guy, I realize my opinion counts less on this topic, and I know some people already feel some kind of way about the optics of Wanda going off the deep end, but this idea makes me feel uncomfortable in the same way a spell curing cancer would.

Also, maybe my memory is off, but isn't that what they did in the comics that led to Disassembled? Erase Wanda's memory of her kids and then she secretly got her memory back and that led to her sanity slippage?

okay maybe not brainwashing or mind erasing but his whole thing is seeing all the possibilities and picking the most rational one and dreamwalking was not the only possible solution

Her arc sucked, especially after going through such a similar thing in Wandavision

Somewhere there's an alternate universe where Strange helped Wanda find a good therapist.

Also, not that I want to add more fuel to the fire, but where did White Vision fuck off to? Not suggesting he would've helped, but he might've.

  17. They copy pasted Wanda's motivations from WandaVision but here she played as silly and ridiculously cartoonish

Without agreeing with you, I will add that it is a little flaky that Wanda realized the error of her ways, released Westview, gave up her dream life, and then immediately consulted a book of darkness and evil for an alternate solution. Although that was presented in WandaVision itself, so I guess if anything it's a problem that show created.

This was a bad, bad movie.

I'm honestly shocked that they even released it.

olsen's portrayal was one of the best for a villain in the mcu, even if its a recycled plotline

I wouldn’t even put her top 5 tbh

We have Thanos, Loki, Vulture, Killmonger, Zemo and Wenwu. That’s not even counting Dafoe’s Green Goblin or Molina’s Doc Ock.
