I think what it comes down to is more and more I just dont really like festivals tbh

 

yeah I can't do festivals, too many people

 

I was actually pretty disappointed she wasn’t on the lineup

 

I've been imagining some iteration of her, Charli and Dua Lipa touring; which I think would kill us both

 

I love festivals honestly. For example, I’ve always wanted to see Beyonce but I’d never be able to afford the view I’d want of her. Only festivals make those things possible

 

I’d go the whole tour

 

Most festivals are super overrated and overpriced sadly

 

These are pretty much my only talking points these days. My wife might actually murder me if I relate anything she says to something Norm related.

Haha what Fest is that I want to look for myself. And that's pretty funny. They played some Fest in the suburbs of Chicago (like not a festival but a small town mini carnival type thing) and it was honestly packed and I won't say it wasn't fun... but it was free which is really the crucial element here haha

 

Smash Mouth played a free show at my sister's college, I guess alma matter she graduated in May, a few years back and she said everyone was like "why the fuck are they playing here"

 

I can understand that. Lolla in particular exhausted me this year and was the least fun I had of the 3 years I went. For me they can be a ton of fun or really terrible for reasons that have nothing to do with the lineup - just the circumstantial stuff like weather, who I'm with (or not with), etc.
