for the longest i guess cus I was new i always had more posts than likes then in the last 2-3 months its flipped totally. still got work to be done though. lol

I went down a Gaslight hole again recently and remembered this happened and it makes me so happy

 

I'm glad the snow here didn't stick cus I'm the only one who workhorses the snow removal.... end up killing myself lol.

I'm really hoping she makes a guest appearance at Conor's NYE show in LA. Last time I saw him in LA Jenny Lewis came on out of nowhere and they performed one of her songs, so this would be par for the course lol

 

Good list! I will have to check out Megan Michelle Bird, The Mynabirds, and Torres.

 

Torres is good, can't vouch for the others

 

The Mynabirds are good, although I missed that they released an album this year so I'll be adding that to my still-growing need-to-listen-to-in-2017 list. I'll be adding Torres and Megan Michelle Bird to that list, too. Unrelated to this list but I just started the new Japanese Breakfast album this morning, so far so good!

 

I liked everything else on his list, except FJM, so I imagine I will find something to enjoy in all 3 of these.

 

I appreciate the wide array of genres.

Never listened to the Jay-Z album and The Front Bottoms are not good

 

The Jay-Z album is very good. I see that album in a similar light as albums from bands/artists in other genres who grew up and are reflecting on their past behavior and are trying to move past it without just denying it. I'm 100% down for more "adult" rap lol.

TFB are super polarizing haha. I enjoyed their album for what it is, mostly because I've been a fan for a while now, although it's on the lower end of my top 25 albums of the year because I realize I'm very biased on how I view them

 

@littlejohn why does your state capitol building have phallic symbols on the floor?
