Sounds like my daughter may have bronchitis, I feel so bad for her. It’s so hard to watch your loved ones in pain. I told my wife if there was a way I could transfer my daughter and son’s illnesses to me I’d do it in a second. Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way!

 

i guess not because i don't know what that means hahaha

 

sometimes is does work that way, but they keep the sickness too. :/

I was banned from AP towards the end. Not sure if it was my avatar (anatomically correct diagram of sex in full thrusting .gif motion; I had the avatar for years so I doubt it was that) or one joke I made that I admit was in poor taste. Jason never answered my request to unban me because a week or two after he launched Chorus.FM.

Going to give the Hail The Sun EP a listen after lunch. Would that be a good starting point for them? I also saw you recommended Quattracenta earlier. What are they like?

 

Fun fact: I ran the Statler & Waldorf account on AP, and it was so fun, haha.

Agree 100%. It is the most helpless feeling in the world when your kids get sick. I hope they get better soon :(

 

The newest HTS EP is awesome. Definitely a good starting point.

Yeah I think so. If you like it I would go with the album they released last year. I've yet to listen to Wake and their debut album but I quite like the new EP and their LP from last year.

Quattracenta is like a more dark brooding version of Metric. I quite like the EP. It's very restrained and controlled never fully breaks out but the eerie atmosphere is maintained throughout the whole EP. I actually discovered them on bandcamp from the "you might also like" section on Cursive's page.

 

Because of this I’ve always theorized you’re @Raditz

 

i'm not nerdy/cool enough to know anything about DragonBall Z or whatever his character is from, haha. All I know is that the main character has messy hair and an orange jumpsuit.

You know...I've never really given Metric's latest album the time it deserves. I'll have to revisit that one too.

Unfortunately I couldn't get into that Quattracenta EP, while the production sounded great I just found it hard to get through and keep my attention on. It wasn't an easy listen for me. Was bummed since I've dug everything else you've recommended to me.

 

I actually thought the Good Charlotte Christmas EP that came out Friday was pretty decent. Listened this morning on the way in to work.
