Mid November. When is the right time to make EOTY lists for songs and albums?
Other than Bjork and potentially any surprise releases I've got nothing left I'm looking forward to this year

 

Well I do really wonder what they will play. Hope it's not just The Gold but prob will be. The Grocery or The Moth even The Alien would my picks.

Thrice has a killer setlist for this tour. The Long Defeat, Hurricane, The Window (which they destroy live:

), Alchemy Index tribute, Red Telephone, Blur. You're going to have so much fun.

Slaughter Beach, Dog is going on tour this week and I'm debating seeing him. Other than the fact I'd be going alone, I'm still trying to justify the fact I paid $130+ for two tickets to Conor Oberst's NYE show. That amount of money kind of wrecks my plans to see any other shows this year lol

 

Yeah I can't wait. Especially for that Alchemy Index suite. Finally seeing them again it will only be my second time. Pretty stoked for Circa as well since I'm definitely digging their new one a ton. Did you or will you be going to a date on this tour?

 

The Grocery is my favorite song of the year, and that doesn’t have an asterisk next to it

 

Just over heard a commercial on the radio at work. A local gun store is holding a raffle to win a firearm signed by Ted Nugent.

 

We saw Thrice and Circa Survive separately last year, next album cycle we'll catch Thrice. Anthony Green came off as bit of a prick, especially compared to the wholesomeness that was Aaron Weiss singing onstage with his daughter. I don't really have any desire to see him again outside of a Saosin performance.

For what it's worth, I really enjoyed their live show and it helped the songs come to life for me even more. And Ian Farmer plays bass too so it's cool to see 1/2 of MoBo.

 

I finally bought my ticket for the Cleveland date of the Thrice/Circa Survive tour today!

 

That is pretty awesome. Did they play any MoBo stuff when you saw them? I'm not counting on it if I do go but it would be cool, since I haven't had the chance to see MoBo and I don't know if/when I ever will at this point.

 

Yeah don't want to say anything here but Anthony is no saint. Anyways I'm too depressed to talk about this. Are you excited for the Emery reimagined release, that comes out on Friday right?
