Watched Phantom Bride on a stream. Couple of tiny mistakes - Chino is momentarily slightly off on one high note and I think someone possibly gets a guitar wrong going back into the chorus after the solo - but absolutely stunning otherwise.

I'd be very happy with just that setlist for London on Friday.

I'd kill to see them play feiticeira. Probably my favorite song of theirs

It seems that they only played the intro to Riviere before going into Change and they cut What Happened To You. Still, fantastic setlist

  6. Great setlist.

What do they mean with the "2x fast" and 2x slow"? Do they change the tempo of the songs?

I died a little inside just reading that.

If I was there and saw them start to play "Rivière" only To transition into something else, I might literally cry.

    hmmm

They did do the verse of Riviere before going into Change

Seems like an odd transition. Idk, Riviere would have been a stellar addition to the overall setlist.

They were amazing last night. Somehow got better as the night went on. Nice mix of the two setlists they played in Paris as well.

Man never listened to Sade before not counting By Your Side. Checking out Love Deluxe right now, and it's soooo good.

    Bullet Proof Soul esp.

These guys cover of Ordinary Love was always a favorite of mine. Also finally checking out Cocteau Twins from there Wax and Wane cover.

Cocteau Twins' album Heaven Or Las Vegas is fantastic. Highly recommend to everyone in this thread

I just found out last week Sade is pronounced "Shah-day" and doesn't in fact rhyme with Jade. I felt like such a fake fan lol

Yeah I heard that name forever. Then realized it was spelled that way.

Band has always been killer at stuff like art design, song titles and setlists. Oh yeah, and making music too

God SNW is so good. I'm guilty of underrating it, then I listen to it and feel like an idiot.

SNW is great. I've been all about Cherry Waves, Xerces, and Riviere lately

Haha there are a bunch of great songs on the album. Beware might be my favorite Deftones song and Hole In The Earth is among their best for me as well. Then you've still got Rapture, Cherry Waves, Xerces, Rats Rats Rats, and Riviere.

I was listening to it the other day and I got to think about how one of the complaints about it is how unfocused or disjointed it flows, but I think it flows fine. And as far as the songwriting goes, the band still had their chops. There's a lot some great stuff going on.

I never got that criticism that Chino's scream doesn't sound good on SNW. I think it sounds just fine. Also, I love the meaning behind the album title.
