Where are you getting this from? Almost every Deftones fan I've ever known loves this record, and the fact that they closed their shows with one or more songs from it consistently for decades is a testament to this fact.

Adrenaline is a fucking jam.

And it’s still a lower tier ‘tones album.

also people ITT: put it on a longsleeve crewneck and ill hound their management so that they put it up for sale lmao

 

That hardly translates to a bad rap, “lol”. It’s clear they’ve progressed and evolved since that album, but your belief of how it’s perceived is way off base.

I've never loved Adrenaline aside from Birthmark, and that one is only due to a particular pro shot show from a few years back. The raw production and tones make it stick out among their discography. If I watch a live set and one of its songs is played, I get my life to it though

i made one post that was actually positive about the album and dude wrote a book at me lol

 

I’ll stay consistent and say I don’t like the ATF artwork and would never buy that shirt in a million years. I also don’t like Adrenaline much but don’t think I’ve tried to listen all the way through it in at least 10 years.

 

I tend to assume Adrenaline isn't very good, and then always get surprised how much I enjoy the songs when I hear them.

Bored, Root and Engine No.9 all go hard

 

birthmark is probably my second fave behind bored

 

I listened to it this morning after making my earlier posts, and yeah this album really goes hard at times. It blends together a lot though.

I don't know what's particularly bugging me about it, to the point of rarely revisiting it. It's not like it's that different from Around The Fur.

 

I don't revisit Around the Fur that much anymore either.
