Great band. Pushing more into shoegaze territory this time, this was their debut:

 

Haven't checked it out yet but this is apparently pretty good

 

I saw that tweet the other day and wasn’t sure who he meant by “baby boy” so I looked it up and apparently it’s his son’s band, I think he’s on drums. Pretty cool. Imagine being a teenager starting to discover and create music for the first time and your dad is fuckin Chino

It's actually his eldest son and I think he might be in his mid-20s. Chino had a kid around the time Adrenaline came out if I'm remembering that correctly.

 

I dig it. It’s the most Chino thing ever, no surprise there.

coincidently gave diamond eyes a spin on my run yesterday. pretty much timed perfectly from when i left and it started to getting home and it ending. the perfect running album.

I recently listened to this again after putting it down for a while and I really think this is Frank's best album to date. He really took it to another level and elevated every single song. I've gained a whole new appreciation for it just listening to his parts.

 

Swerve City remains my favorite, but this is also a great addition to the many BB/Deftones brew.

Still absolutely rules even if I'm pissed I was cheated out of seeing them for my first time on this tour - straight up cancelling that Dublin show, ergh.

 

Yeah pretty mad still I would have been seeing them this month, but they postponed/cancelled a lot of the dates. Not too far from when they re announced the tour was back on. Like I get it Delta, but a lot of tours are going the vaccination/negative covid test route which they could’ve done.

Yep. Pulled out my September 2020 playlist and can't believe it's been a year already.

Also happy to report that it is still absolutely phenomenal in every way. Can't wait to see them next year.
