Yeah that last Death Cab album is a fantastic early morning album.

 

I Dreamt We Spoke one of my favs off Thank You. Love the drum fills during the chorus

 

Yeah that song definitely sets the the tone of the album for me, I love it

 

Wild how my two favorite death cab songs come back to back on one album.

 

Transatlanticism/Passenger Seat and What Sarah Said/Brothers on a Hotel Bed is like 4 of my top 5.

 

The second one is mine, but those are close too

 

Stable Song and Tiny Vessels are both pretty high on my list too. Easily two of the best three song stretches in music for me.

 

They do have the best 1-2 of all time, but it's No Joy in Mudville->Scientist Studies

 

Alright, I've listened to Plans like seven times in the last two weeks. It might be my favorite Death Cab album. Here is an unimpeachable, not up for debate ranking of the songs:

Umm that is certainly up for debate my friend!!! Soul Meets Body at the bottom?

 

Yeah, idk what "Someday You Will Be Loved" is doing that high either lol

 

What? Great song.

 

I think it's the weakest on the album, but to each their own!

 

I think Crooked Teeth might be my least favorite? Idk. That or SYWBL.

 

I mean top 4 is untouchable but the other 7 could be swapped any number of ways for me.

I personally love Different Names.

 

Different Names favors the left channel in the first minute and it drives me up a wall so I have never liked it very much lol

 

It's a good song on a great album.

I didn't know it was possible to like 5 Death Cab songs more than Brothers on a Hotel Bed.

 

I'm finding myself getting annoyed that any song on Plans is at the bottom of a list lol. There's no right answer when you're ranking that album. It's just too damn good.
