An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

that new song is awesome, surprised it wasn't on the album

This album was ruined a little for me by coming out at a really bad time for me. Songs like Asphalt Meadows were a little too relevant for a while.

Now, I’m getting back into it with less baggage and it’s fucking great.

So funny to go through my first posts in here. I was so skeptical and criticized pretty much every single they released and now this is one of my favorite albums from last year and one of a handful I regularly revisit.

Funny that you mention the "too relevant" point here as a reason to avoid this release because that's the reason why I love it so much. Tracks like Don't Know How I Survive, Roman Candles & Wheat Like Waves feel like they were written about me lol. They just hurt so good.

If anyone is looking for a GA ticket to the show in Minneapolis this Sunday 9/24 let me know. My buddy had to back out.

Saw them a few days ago and they were Verifiably Good so now I’m going through their discography for the first time in a while and promoting discourse

I was hoping to see them bring out a second drum set for Ben to play along with Jason on We Looked Like Giants, but I actually dig that they played it just like on the record because it’s still a vibe

Just saw them last night. Forgot how loud some of the rocker tracks on Trans are. Same for Give Up. Will be revisiting their discography on drive back home today since I avoided it for the last month ahead of the show.

I'm srsly debating driving to Seattle night of and just driving back to pdx the same night to go to this show. But idk anyone in pdx who would do this with me and idk how I'd fare driving there and back without falling asleep and dying. I know they just played pdx recently but not this tour and I'm forever bitter! Im gonna see where prices are day of
