Have movie prices changed that much since then? I feel like there's actually more cheap theaters around now but I honestly don't know. I go to the movies once or twice a year at best haha.

I'm all for any analytics that put TDK above obviously.

A Bunch of DC Movies Are Leaving HBO Max in February

 

wtf why. Those are all WB movies. Why?

 

A really dumb choice

 

Because WB would rather people buy the physical copies for the $$

 

that explains why the batman movies are going since the batman comes out a month after that (though the burton/schumacher ones are headed to hulu while bb/tdk go straight to netflix) but the rest? shazam? birds of prey? what the fuck…

 

WB is all about profit. It’s why execs have messed with most of the DC films. I really would like DC films to be made elsewhere or to get their own studio similar to Marvel.

 

I was holding off on buying The Suicide Squad because I figured it would just always be on HBO Max. I guess since that isn’t the case the strategy is working!

 

All that Black Adam footage looks awesome. Especially the shots of Hawkman and Dr. Fate have me excited

Ezra Miller sucks but man the future is looking bright for DC movies, hyped for it

 

Doctor Fate and the Hawkman helmet look perfect, but Hawkman not being shirtless has basically ruined that movie for me. *sigh*

 

Sorry, the only good Hawkman costume is a costume with his beefy tits out.

Sucks that they got so much of the look so right, and then stumbled so hard on that one important detail, especially when the dude definitely would’ve rocked it, but alas. Hollywood are cowards.

 

Honestly, tragic that Zack Snyder made nine and a half hours of cinema with concepts from DC Comics and never got around to Hawkman. That purely aesthetic-driven* barbarian would’ve been so cool alongside Snyder’s Wonder Woman and Aquaman.


* Don’t tell me you like Hawkman “as a character,” lol. The dude is several characters under a couple disparate concepts that are reincarnated across space and time. If you like him, you know it’s really because of his striking iconography.
