I would just like to see Cavill have a shot at an actual good superman. I thought Cavill was good at the role so far but imagine if he had a solid script around his superman? That's what I want to see.

 

This is an interesting detail. I believe he also initially didn’t wanna write the Captain America comic, but then decided to use it as a way to explore American exceptionalism in a superhero story.

 

I am so hyped about this.

I still think JJ is a fine action movie director but he has lost his writing privileges entirely after the travesty that was Rise of Skywalker.

 

I would very much like this to be good.

Also, that reminds me, I need to watch the pilot of Superman & Lois.

 

Exciting choice for writing the new Superman. I'd love to see Cavill again in the role, but I wouldn't be surprised to see someone new.

Coincidentally, I just rewatched Man of Steel the other day. I was wondering if I was going to hate it as much as other people, but I still love that movie.

He's worked with the Rock on concept stuff previously for Black Adam, so would be cool if the real design is anywhere near that.
