Definitely has some Ex:Re touches (which, let’s be real, was not all that different from the full band). This hits. This album is going to be a sad one.

 

Every eco-friendly color composite record I have sounds incredible, some of the best in my collection. Bummed that I can’t swing the record right now. Upside is all of my other Daughter records are black so at least when I do grab it they’ll match lol

 

Ugh, can't drop another $40 right now but I appreciate you looking out lol. Birthday is next month so I'm hoping for that and MM.. FOOD.

 

This is fucking gooooooood. Yup. Always afraid I build up new songs from my favorite artists a little too much and end up disappointed, but not this time.

 

I’ve only ever heard “Youth” from this band so I’m doing a discography run now.

 

I keep replaying this. It’s so fucking good.

 

This is such a great song to more or less serve as the opener, and I love that the beginning of the record still isn’t really spoiled since there’s an intro track

God the strings in this are proper fucking massive

 

Don't forget the Ex:Re album! Just as good as Not to Disappear imo

 

Musically, I agree. However, I have not heard any album that comes close to the heartbreak she expresses on Ex:Re.

 

Song is SO good. Man. I’m so happy to have them back.

 

The EPs are strong and If You Leave is a pretty exceptional debut record, but Not to Disappear is when they really came into their own imo. A nearly flawless album.

 

Not to Disappear is a 10 for me. And Ex:Re is close

Well worth the wait, glad they’re back. Not to Disappear came out right as a relationship was ending and it fit that time perfectly. I hope they tour the US at some point, I’d love to see them.

 

The synth swells in the second verse are just perfect

 

This into "No Care" is just insane

 

Somehow completely missed the news of this album/song release until today. Sooooo stoked!
