This quote from Chris really hits me hard and makes me love Dashboard Confessional even more. It's the same reason I decided to quit drinking over a year ago.

 

Burning Heart is pretty cool, but I can't help but imagine what a full-band version would sound like too!

 

Yeah track is nice, but doesn’t grab me as much as the first single. Still good, though!

 

Got my ticket for the NYC show next month!

Been a minute since I've rolled solo to a show, but it's also been a minute since I've seen Chris live. So I couldnt pass it up!

 

I'm in the middle. Definitely would be an interesting Twin Forks style song with some shuffling drums. I am so happy with these two tracks already

 

Having been unfamiliar with the song prior to hearing it today, I was really expecting the drums to eventually come in lol.

It is a pleasant sort of song. Gave me So Impossible EP vibes. Something I definitely would have been obsessed with around 2003.

EDIT: Wait, that was 2001? Fuck that makes me feel old.

I forgot to post it but last week he did a live set for some radio station on Facebook and he played a new song called Everyone Else is Just Noise. Another great song!

 

No, it was all new material!!! And it made me feel things!

Is he using that awful vocal effect he used on last years stream still?

 

This livestream was amazing. I loved it even more than the last one. The new songs all sounded incredible and made me emotional?! Felt like I was transported back in time to high school, listening to Dashboard in my disc man while it snowed outside. And the new versions of the old songs were equally great. I loved this.

 

I really hope they make it available on youtube down the line. Really wanted to tune in but this week has been brutal.
Last years stream was really well done (even though the guitar mic was picking up his voice too much at some points!).
