We’re gonna have a Dashboard, Brian Fallon, and Ruston Kelly tour aren’t we?

 

Does anyone remember that broadcast (maybe MTV) where there was a D/C concert, and then the band pulled up on like a big ass trailer and played a few songs for the kids standing in line like in the rain as a surprise? Is that buried in the archives somewhere? It would have been like 20 years ago.

 

Bright Eyes did it better 19 years ago.

 

Dean Martin and/or Elvis did it best 55 years ago and yet I still like new renditions of it.

 

how is Chris forever young and beautiful, honestly.

Wish this was closer to NYC.

Funny that the lineup is very close to what the Honda Civic 2004 line up was - DC, Thrice, The Get Up Kids, Hot Rod Circuit.

Chris related, I just got an alert that Tooth & Nail is working on a vinyl repress of The Moon is Down for the 20th anniversary.
I signed up for an email alert, looks like the official announcement is coming 2022.

 

i kinda wish Loeffler was still in the band tbh. liked his guitar parts and harmonies a lot.

 

He was a huge part in the songwriting process. Especially during D&S and ATE. His additions to songs really helped elevate stuff.

I had a mix cd I made of random DC songs that I downloaded from Napster. I listened to that thing for years and years. Screaming Infidelities was on there. So I guess I was like… 15. Yikes.

 

Finally getting the studio version of Burning Heart!

 

What a glorious return to form album. And it's still cold as shit here, and therefore, perfect to play the next couple of months.
