Echoing the sentiment that bringing back your predator vocalist for him to just leave anyway would be good comedy if it hadn’t been so pathetic to start with. Would have loved to listen to a new take on DGD if they had done the right thing from the get go, but it’s too late now.

 

Since Tilian is gone, they should cancel the planned Mothership performance, get Kurt, and do Happiness instead.

 

Naively hoping the actual reason he's out is because they finally came to their senses about him and they've all just collectively decided to be needlessly and stupidly diplomatic about it.

Band remains forever tarnished (barring some extraordinary redemption arc), but after not listening to them at all for the past almost two years, maybe I can return to them now without becoming awash in disappointment and disgust.

 

I’ve never been a big fan of DGD, but I really dig The Ghost of Billy Royalton, and I caught myself thinking “damn… I love every bit of this song BUT Tilian”

Even vocally I found him a bit of a sore thumb in this band

 

Only acceptable thing (unless they get Jonny and do DBM). Would be lame as hell to have someone imitate Mothership when they can have the OGs on an older album that actually fits the WWWY theme.

Idk about that, they’re friends now and send each other books and shit, and try to help each other with sobriety. Kinda weird cause she had a whole big video about how he got her addicted to heroin, but seems to have made amends kinda? Idk if it was a Instagram live video he did last year or maybe that punk rock mba interview but he explained how he’s kept in touch with her and her family since sobriety.

 

I mean it definitely happened, whether or not they've since made amends is another story. Not saying I don't hope he's a better person, I don't even listen to this band, but if these allegations are true, that's pretty irredeemable to me personally

Hahaha. Looking at the Instagram comments and their Reddit, it’s good to see even their remaining fans think this is a big time clown move.

I’m happy to still have the albums with Kurt to revisit but this band is a joke

 

They couldn’t have picked a worse band to open for.

Apparently Falling in Reverse released a music video and album announcement along with this tour. Their fans are eating it up on Twitter.

 

DGD does not care. They are getting paid and that is all they care about as is obvious from the last year+
