Goes without saying (literally nobody else is/was doing this) but trolling and/or repeatedly antagonizing the thread isn't gonna fly. People are obviously upset by what's happening, and tensions can be high, but there's a difference between a snarky response or two and full-blown trolling. Thanks to everyone else for being generally thoughtful about your posts itt prior to this inane argument, especially during a difficult time for a lot of fans.

 

denying that fame dynamic plays a role in sexual assault is problematic. im sure someone else could word that more eloquently.

 

It has nothing to do with the subjectivity of "fame" and everything to do with having a platform and fanbase

Yeahhh that there is the reason I ended my membership. I even asked Jason if that was a bug or a feature and referenced me to the blog post about it being a feature. Personally if i were being harassed I’d feel more comfortable knowing the harasser couldn’t see me back. But anyway that’s another topic for discussion. Glad the forum is better now for ya!!

 

The block feature is definitely one of my faves. Occasionally I'll go back and unblock to see if the person is still nuts. 9 times out of 10 I end up re-enabling the block haha.

yep and dbm2 sucks

 

I definitely don't want Jonny back but I have revisited DBM2 recently and I think it's pretty great. I like it way more than any of the Tillian records.

 

at the very least dbm2 has a bad and lazy barely there performance from jonny. and the second half of the album has a couple riffs but the songs arent very good songs or do much.

 

I used to think the same but I think the whole thing is great now. Purple Reign and Blue Dream are two of their best songs.
