Very good. Personal opinion = on par with the other two, probably the slightly better song of the 3 overall, can also see why people would put this far above them though! Feels like more of a IG, Summer vibe to this album perhaps?

 

Can't wait for this album. Always releasing quality

 

Strawberry's Wake is still my fav, but this is solid

On the recording it sounds very distinctly different from the other screams Mess is doing to me *shrug* Feels like its very distinctly Tilian’s timbre

 

veil of maya feature on guitar! is he playing all those noodly lead riffs? sounds so good!

 

Jon and Tilian’s stage presence is very awkward to watch. I’m sure I’d still enjoy but it has just never translated well for me in any videos I’ve watched over the years.

Strawberry's Wake is my favorite of the 3 because I love the lyrics but each of the singles feature really awesome stuff that I love. can't wait for this record.

Damn this new one blows away not only the first 2 singles but the whole last record... getting those Mothership euphoric spacey vibes

 

This is a band I've never checked out before because I thought the band name was shit.

They sound pretty crazy but pretty sure this is my kinda shit

 

I've been a fan since 2008, seen them at least four times live, and yeah, their band name is shit. Welcome!

 

Where are the best places to start? They have quite the back catalogue!

 

If you’ve heard these singles only, I’d say it depends what draws you to them. If you like some of the funkier guitar work, try happiness. If you like the general chaos, probably mothership

 

Mothership first, it's their most popular and representative album.

Then listen to a few of the classic songs from the Jonny era "Lemon Merengue Tie" "Spooks" & "I Invented Times New Roman" as well as some from the Kurt era like "Me & Zoloft" "Carl Barker" & "Alex English".

 

the tillian screams are actually pretty sweet

 

Jon's "I want you, to matter to you!" part in Strawberry's Wake has not ceased to be my favorite moment from any of these new songs so far and I like all three.
