I have a huge soft spot for Kurt/nirvana bc they were my ex Andrews fave band so we listened to them a lot/watched lots of documentaries and such.
Visiting Seattle and going to viretta park and seeing the memorial stuff and seeing his house was a rly nice experience

 

courtney's messiness is her best defense here. i do not think she was really in the frame of mind to plan anything elaborate, and surely she'd have gotten caught if she did cause cops hate women

but also her crazy dad was like "yeah she definitely killed him" so lol who knows

oh yeah soaked in bleach was in my netflix queue forever and i always forgot to watch it. consuming art based on kurt feels weird it's like practically grave robbing at this point lol. but i'll bump it up and watch it when finals wind down

 

Idk that she did it for real haha but it’s one conspiracy I like to cling to. I DO firmly think there is more to the story than suicide.

possible, i've heard speculation he had help escaping rehab or whatever it was before but i've never looked into that aspect of it. i just don't think it was necessarily her who helped him. and honestly (tw for those sensitive to suicide and suicidal ideation)



i definitely think about what happened to kurt and think of the tunnel vision that comes with deciding what you're about to do and i feel like that he killed himself is a lot closer to the truth and that it's hard to accept it bc it seems so senseless even though in the moment it probably made more sense than anything, esp considering he'd had prior attempts

 

yeah, CL is a lot of things but she doesn't seem like one for bullshit. i think i've seen footage of her like seemingly pissed that he's dead too like wasted out of her mind and absolutely pissed

Like I’m unclear on the details offhand but I do know that there was enough surrounding the suicide that it made me question the suicide aspect.
Like, soaked in bleach was made with the investigator from back then. So. I feel like he has pretty good insight.
Also this convo made me convince my ex to watch it so now we’re gonna watch it soon and I can report back haha. My memory is shit tbh.

John Fisk, paramedic for the Seattle Fire Department and first responder at the Kurt Cobain death scene in 1994, gave an interview to the Mercer Island Reporter on April 6, 2016 stating that "he reiterated to the Soaked in Bleach producers that he still believes the case remains a suicide."[9]

On June 27, 2016, Vernon J. Geberth, former homicide detective of the New York City Police Department, who was among the experts interviewed in the docudrama, posted an article on his Practical Homicide Investigation website[10] and Facebook page,[11] stating that he "was not happy that the producers of Soaked in Bleach made it appear that he agreed with their homicide theory". He stated further that he "made it quite clear that he believed that Kurt Cobain took his own life and backed up his opinion with the facts that he had obtained from the Seattle Police Department's Homicide Division coupled with his own experience with suicide cases".

Carole Chaski, a forensic linguist, agreed to the official suicide verdict. She was as well among the experts shown in Soaked in Bleach. On October 9, 2017, she was interviewed at the NBC News affiliate House Of Mystery Radio Show, stating that her "results do not support the conspiracy theory that Courtney Love authored the bottom portion to make it look like a suicide note"[12]. She ran Kurt Cobain's suicide note through a computational software called SNARE (Suicide Note Assessment Review) and it was classified as a suicide note (the top portion and the bottom portion).
