undoubtedly being rich would probably be sick but what you do for work shouldn't define you and from my (obviously limited, online perspective) I would call you a successful person in all the ways that address things that are legitimately terrifying about adulthood (imo). like you don't just cook well and take pictures, you're cultivating something that brings you joy and continually getting better and more impressive at it. and it's not like you don't have other aspirations with yr cooking even if they seem far off and out of reach. this isn't a "cheer up you rule!" post as much as it is a reminder that people see you very very positively and maybe that helps/ is better than validation from high school losers who were shitty to you.

@Ken, I know it's nearly impossible to not compare yourself to others but you have to remember that these things have nothing to do with you and that your path is your path. you're very talented and smart and you'll get where you're going but worrying about how well others are doing in contrast to you will only set you back from your potential. I have these thoughts quite often too so I'm talking to myself just as much as I am you, but I hope these words help, at least a little anyway

While I did buy way too much cheese I also bought a ton of produce (lemons,limes, peppers, oranges, apples, bananas, strawberries, cucumbers, roma tomatoes and grape tomatoes) bought some spring mix and brocolli at Costco the other day.

Ate 2 apples with peanut butter and sliced almonds for breakfast. Not bad actually.
