They're really shady about it too, they say you get 100% of your tips, but apparently if the guaranteed pay you see when you accept the order is $6.50 and the customer tips $5, doordash only pays the $1.50 difference to the driver

All of these app based systems are really getting away with this type of shady shit. I'm going to tip cash on everything at this point because I don't trust any of these businesses to give the money to the driver.

It sucks because we're in a service economy meaning most of the jobs are going to be retail/food service and now moving into apps with little barrier to entry but there's no way this is sustainable because nobody can afford to live on the shit wages they provide.
