I could go on for DAYS about how much I love toe and that mix of bands. I got to see LITE with Mouse on the Keys a few years ago and it was absolutely perfect.

 

Does he do any l'arc songs with that project? I'm a sucker for those anime tunes.

I make sure to follow every single venue on Facebook for Philly and NYC. I get a lot of alerts for shit I've never heard of, but every now and again they drop a bomb on me. Most recently, wagakkiband and MONO are the two big Japanese acts coming through town.

ooh i do do this but they might have not hit the south east is all. or i might not have been aware of them at the time, but most likely the latter. I think Tricot and Baby Metal were the only japanese bands to have rolled through here recently so

 

Yeah, bands like that have to be really selective with dates. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Perfume only end up doing maybe five shows in the US. I lucked out living in this market.

Bummed I'm missing Perfume next week, but the ticket prices were a bit outrageous.
