I've found Express to be pretty good for suits/dress clothes and if you go when they have good sales and use coupons you can get good deals. I've got a couple suits from them for <$200

Spending $500 on a pair of shoes that a. You're either going to wear on your feet or b. Is going to sit in room somewhere is stupid.

I've already said that people can have their own choices and priorities but that's just immoral to me honestly. And come on we're talking about Nikes.

I don't think there's a way to change my mind about $500+ sneakers.

But to be serious, my post that 12 people on the internet are going to read isn't hindering anybody from doing what they want with their hard earned dollars.

I was looking online at Express today, they don't have one near me but they have one the next town over and I'm thinking about going there sometime this week

I need to check out a j crew outlet. Banana Republic Factory has really lowered their quality in recent years and I can't only shop at Nordstrom rack.

I would mostly agree with this but I have actually found great success with H&M dress shirts the non-iron ones I think they are called? They're like $17 but the only problem is the selection is pretty limited I already have most of them lol

    J. Crew outlet us usually pretty good. Banana outlet usually disappoints me but every once in a while I'll find something nice. I like the regular store though so when they have sales or I have coupons I'll go there. Levi outlets for jeans too, haven't found a better brand for the price/fit/quality.

I spent $180 on my miAdidas Dames and around the same amount on my Nike Longhorn KDIVs and that's the most I've spent on shoes

I'll have to check those out! Thanks! The elbows keep going on my less expensive shirts, so I've stopped buying them as it has become a vicious cycle.

The only thing I'll buy from there these days are their suits and their underwear/belts/socks. No more dress pants and no more dress shirts. The regular store is still fantastic.

They're actually called easy-iron I just looked which is funny because you don't actually need to iron them at all! I've had a few of them for years and they hold up really well and that's part of what I look for in dress shirts is not having to iron them

I think it's fair to think "hey that's a pretty irrational purchase" but to say that they deserve to be financially oppressed for it is an irresponsible and fucking moronic take that I won't back off about

I will say I just got one of the new performance dress shirts from Express and it is very thin. Made it comfortable and super light but not sure on the durability yet and definitely felt like I needed to wear an undershirt.

oh yeah easy iron/non-iron/travel/etc whatever they're called are absolutely necessary when i buy dress shirts. I'm not about to pay for dry cleaning and dress shirts that aren't non-iron wrinkle so bad and just make you look terrible in the office.
