If you face enough bad shit, you develop an intense appreciation for the power of a solid laugh. It's a costly knowledge to gain, but an important one.

And it's never a bad thing to care about people. You do that well, I think.

I don't know that I think on this level very often. But the existence of fire mesmerizes me every time I see it. And that, in the end, we don't always entirely understand it and we're constantly battling to control it.

It's honestly not a genre I've spent enough time exploring. But Whitney Houston and Usher consistently had/have songs I've enjoyed that fall under that umbrella. Solange is great. Alicia at her best is nigh untouchable, but her albums suffer from a lot of bloat for me.

 

Hmmm. I'm mostly an open book because life is too short. Uh, I guess there was a solid stretch for awhile where I thought erotic fiction was intriguing and read more than I ever thought I would. But never like a Fabio novel. The free online shit.
