They seemed to have autonomy, @kaylasananjou would you consider Chewbacca a pet?

it's a double edged sword- it's cool, but it's constantly mispronounced and misspelled. plus, the period breaks pretty much every computer filing system, so it's spelled differently EVERYWHERE. it's spelled St-Onge on my driver's license, Stonge on my 401k, St Onge at my doctor, etc, etc. I'm actually pretty hype to get married and change it to something simple just to save me some time.

Perfect example: I spent an hour on the phone w IT support at Barnes and Noble trying to connect my membership to my online account only for them to realize their computer was shutting down every time because I had entered the period. So annoying.

Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooool. Actually it's weird, because I was very young when he was elected, so while I had an idea that things were bad 2000-2008, there are still things that shock me sometimes as I learn them.

Ahhh so far...I am doing a bad job of keeping up on what's been released lmao. I need to check out Brian Fallon, Kimbra, and tune yards. I was pleasantly surprised to not hate the new Tonight Alive album.

I'm really hoping for some weird deep cuts- I really want Escape Route, Hello Cold World, Conspiracy. I also would really like to see Born for This and Hallelujah back in the set.

I really like Shortly. I'm also going to cheat and say the follow up project from my Swell boys - Baggage and The Apology Tour.

they have no natural predators and are good little buddies without me making them live inside.

brioche bun. this is like my guilty pleasure thing that I buy at Whole Foods. It's super easy to make but it's very satisfying to just pick it up and go.

lmao I actually read a really funny tumblr post once about how it's most likely that Chewbacca considers Han like a good dog that saved his life.

hmmm I sadly don't have a LOT of travel experience outside of touring, which is...not really traveling in the fun way. If it were up to me completely, I'd want to go to Seattle. I have family there that's really into outdoors/mountain climbing. There's a really great mostly non-tourist spot called Icicle Creek that's a three mile hike into the mountains but it is SO beautiful. On top of that excursion, they live in West Seattle, which has a small town feel inside of larger Seattle. There's a cute pie restaurant, and a record store that also has a diner attached to it. (It's called Easy Street Records, SO cool.) Then there's the cool tourist things- the ferry to main Seattle, Pike Place. When I was there last, I went to so many used bookstore I had to buy a carry on suitcase to take them all home, so if you're a reader, you're in luck.

I actually keep up with the general politics chat when I'm bored at work, so yes, I always love your political tweets. I also check in on your insta bc I like to keep track of chorus friends. :)

well you see first I spent a year yelling about every shitty band dude and made everyone either hate or love me. once i developed a cult of personality, i could be funny. jk, jk...i think i am just willing to present myself online the same way i do in real life. i try to be funny, but i also care about things and i'm not ashamed to put the full absurdity of my emotions/obsessions online. it's also my main social media and way of talking to online friends, so despite twitter being the WORST, it's also weirdly my happy place.

do yourself a huge favor, replace welcome to new york w/ new romantics and bad blood w/ wonderland on your tracklist, you will be much happier with the 1989 experience.

also, wonderland is about diana agron, thank u everyone, i don't make the rules.

I did the replace NY with wonderland, bad blood with the remix (sucker for Kendrick’s verses), and this love with New Romantics version of this re-arranging.

Is that so? She was always my favorite on Glee

What is something you’ve always wanted to try but haven’t gotten around to doing?

    Favorite Staircase Spirits Song?

What has been the most perfect day of your life so far, and did you realize how perfect it was as you lived it?

    1) I really, really want to write music. It's hard, because I really only know how to play piano and I don't think I am very talented in the actual music department, but I have a lot of lyrics that I've written over the years that I would really love to do something with. I think even if it's just a very lo-fi bedroom pop thing, it would be fun to try and get it out. Maybe other people would like it, but it would really be just for me.

    2) THIS IS SO HARD. I think it's a tie between "Ghosts" and "That Night III." "Eight" gets an honorable mention for being so fucking heartbreaking, but I couldn't say it's my favorite because I can't listen to it very often.

    3) Man... this is a tough one. It's hard because a lot of my "perfect" days in retrospect are marred by bad relationships. I think I'll go with this: 3 years ago, my fiance broke up with me. It was the right decision and I'm glad we didn't end up getting married, but at the time, I was devastated. I went through some genuinely self-destructive months, but after a bit, I started to come out of it. I began to develop feelings for my boss at my new job (womp), and we had become pretty good friends at that point (I had worked there for 3 months at the time) Since my fiance had moved out and taken a lot of our collective stuff, Ben offered to take me out to his dad's house, because he had a spare twin mattress I could have. We went and picked up the mattress, and while talking, he found out I'd never been to the Arboretum in Ann Arbor.

He offered to take me hiking there, and it was a pretty mild fall day, so I agreed, super excited to spend time with him. We met up, and he told me that when he was a kid, he found an off-map glen in the woods that was super pretty. He had wanted to try and find it again ever since. We had like 7 hours before work (we used to work 6pm-2am), so we decided to go for it. We got SO lost going off trail that we came out into the most ridiculous rich person sub division of all time and spent another hour or so looking at all the house before deciding to figure out how to get back to our cars.

After that, we decided to get lunch at this bar right next to work, and I remember sitting there across from him thinking that maybe everything really was going to be okay and that maybe my life wasn't totally over. I think it was like, two weeks later that we ended up kissing each other at a bar and starting the weird early part of our relationship. (Don't worry, it didn't cause any problems at work!)

I wouldn't say that I knew it was perfect at the time, but I knew it was special. I think we only get a few times in our life where you are actively aware of the course of your life shifting, and that was definitely one of them.
