Series X is the best console to play it on fwiw.

 

I honestly haven’t touched the game in forever btw, been waiting on that big patch and won’t play it until then.

 

Hmmm I was under the impression that it would be longer. Like fall or 2022.

 

I thought I had heard Fall too. In the same boat as waiting for the next-gen patch to keep playing.

 

Oh the next gen patch won’t be out for a long ass time. Every small patch is behind schedule.

my somewhat educated guess would be that the game will get a soft relaunch this holiday season with a next gen version launching to stores with some additional content.

 

Yeah, I can see that happening too. I doubt it’ll work out for them though

 

Patch 1.2 — list of changes

 

That’s a big ass patch, hopefully it’s dropping sooner that later.

 

I haven't even started the game, but that patch list makes me hopefully it should be enjoyable a few months from now

Oh wow, I had no idea. Thought it was still coming, guess I’m gonna fire up the PS4 when i get home.

 

Pretty big patch. Def a step in the right direction.

 

Welp, the game looks a little bit prettier but now it’s jankier than it was before.

 

This is just crazy frustrating. I’m not gonna take it out on the dev team who’s trying their best to fix this but man, this genuinely sucks. There’s so much promise in the game but maybe it’s just time to accept the hard truth and wait for the PS5 version.

 

Game should have straight up just been a next gen release.

 

I dunno, I think the scope of the game was honestly just too much for them and they bit off way more than they were capable of chewing in the first place. But I agree though, they definitely should’ve told the shareholders to suck it and delayed it for a year or two for next gen.

 

It's still an early access title? It'll be a Hello Games situation then I imagine. Even if a team as large as CDPR can't deliver on release day, a few years from now it might be beyond their fans' current expectations.
