I got a shipping notification yesterday.

 

This has leaked apparently. Dying to listen.

 

This is probably the most excited I've been for a live album.

 

just threw it on. Great way to start my morning.

 

My copy of Jane Live arrived yesterday evening. This may be the best sounding live record I've heard. I've never been a big fan of live recordings, but this is on another level. Sounds massive. Got the Randy Ortiz edition and it looks just as good as it sounds.

 

This sounds amazing jesus fucking christ.

 

Ughhhhhh I'm not home for days and I need to hear this ughhhhhhhh.

 

Yeah the production on this is really otherworldly. Everything pops, especially Ballou's guitar parts. It seriously sounds like 2-3 people are playing the axe at once...guy is such a beast.

 

Have been listening to this a pretty absurd amount. Really just blown away by how good the mix is on this, and the fact that they may have managed to improve upon the perfection of Jane Doe. Highlight of Live has to be the breakdown in "The Broken Vow." Just straight up merciless stuff.

I'm not a big Neurosis guy, but i absolutely must see Converge, so I'll be there in Chicago

 

Can't make any of those dates damn. Still haven't seen Converge, Neurosis would be fun too

Unsure if this was already known and I'm just now finding out, but Thousands of Miles Between Us is up on streaming services.

And seriously, Jane Live has not gotten enough love. I have had that thing on repeat at the gym.

 

Nothing new to report (I am seeing them in a week though!), I was just listening to You Fail Me Redux and came to the conclusion that the title track is the heaviest song ever created

 

Got so excited when I saw the rando thread bump.......

 

Only checked out Jane Doe, and You Fail Me. Both are so good, and heavy.

I'm assuming the rest of their discog is solid?
