In the feature article that info is taken from he explicitly says the reason he's still working on the script is because he wants to avoid treating the cast the same way he did during the series - handing them last minute pages completely different from what they had prepared for. He basically wants no major rewriting once production starts.

"The script is finished" could just mean there's a complete draft that has been shared with the cast. They might not even be in prep yet.

 

also the article mentions YNB so would be the whole cast minus you know who
