Got it. Thanks! Only have Graveyard Shift and Endgame left to read out of the current volumes. I'm assuming there will be a couple more at some point though to finish out the run.

 

Yeah I think the final trade is going to come out in December of this year. There's like one more before I'm pretty sure

 

Yeah I figured it would run around 9-10. Vol. 8 ended on issue 45.

 

Just finished the first trade of Nailbiter. Holy shit it was awesome.

 

So I've been thinking a bit about that Nailbiter trade. Warren is very similar in character to Skinner Sweet from American Vampire. I don't know if it remains that way as the story progresses, but it felt like they have some strong similarities.

 

Such a crazy and amazing concept for a comic. Love it so much!

I think it was picked up or was being shopped for TV.

Still upset we didn't get a Chew tv series and haven't heard anything about Locke & Key tv series as of yet either

 

Looks like I missed out by not getting Green Arrow: Rebirth. Been hearing great things about it. And there's also this: REPORT: "Green Arrow: Rebirth" #1 Sells Over 90,000 Copies

 

This is insane, I don't know much about Ollie except for New-52 but it wasn't great after Lemire's run so didn't continue following it. Gonna check out the #1 to see what the fuss is about.

 

I'm going to my LCS Wednesday to pick up WW and The Flash so I'll have to see if he's one of the few to have any copies left haha.

Signed up for the Comixology Unlimited free trial today. Have a list of about 17 different volume ones to check out. May end up paying for it for a couple months to fit them all in.

 

Just read the fourth Black Science trade. Curious to see how much story there is left to tell.

 

Picked up Power Rangers #3 and #1 of the Pink Ranger series, and Rebirth.

Power Rangers is the only series I've been actively reading as it comes out. Good stuff

 

I'm waiting for the Pink Ranger trade but excited for it 'cause I like the writers. Did you read it yet? You dig it?

I am enjoying Black Science. I am all caught up on the monthlies. But I prefer Deadly Class and LOW, as far as Remender's stuff is concerned. Haven't read Tokyo Ghost.

But my goodness, the art on Black Science is epic. And on my iPad Pro, the whole thing just comes to life.

 

I liked his Avengers Academy book. And the stuff he has done in the Buffyverse has been solid.

EDIT: Did not know that he wrote for the DD Netflix series. Good for him!

 

I want to read the Buffy stuff but it is soooo dense.

 

Yeah I want to get into everything Buffy bad. I'll figure out what the hell I'm going to do when I finish S8.

I just finished Trinity of Sin, Forever Evil, and Arkham War. FE was my favorite, loved it. Arkham was a lot of fun too, Bane as Batman was something I never knew I wanted but it ends up was pretty dire to my happiness.

I don't know how I'm going to handle the Justice League. I'm interested but it seems like a lot.

 

Ive only ever read his indie stuff-Absolution, Absolution:Rubicon but love them. Think he did a one-off issue of a digital first title at DC that was alright.

Never watched DD but that's awesome, good for him!

Just glad he's getting recognized.

 

What JL you eyeing?

 

No Idea, I just really liked the characters in Trinity and Forever Evil. I really like what they are doing with Lex too. I'd also like to see where some of this Forever Evil stuff goes since a lot of that was left up in the air (I'm going to Batman Inc next so I'll have Batman's story at least). If you or anyone has recs I'd def be interested, as you know I tend to like the darker stuff.
