Oh absolutely. Spiderman is probably my favorite character so one day I plan on reading every amazing spiderman issue in that run.

I think my last issue of Ghost Rider was misprinted or something. Half of the book had a weird/bad Hulk story in it.

 

My store got shorted on all DC stuff. And by shorted, the owner meant he didn't get any. Real bummer, but I grabbed Hawkeye #1.

 

IvX #1 was a solid start. Lots of payoff to what Emma Frost has been doing for 8 months. Pretty good planning. I was scared this would be kind of mindless fighting but I really like it so far.

Also, they reference all the mutants possibly having to leave Earth and live on a different planet. I wonder if thats a little easter egg about that whole leaked storyline from a couple years ago.

 

Grabbed Hawkeye #1 (ended up with the Aja variant) and a few comics I was behind on.

 

I adored the DC Holiday special, every story was great. I think they might have spoiled an issue of Green Lanterns that hasn't come out yet though. Also, most pointless Bat-gadget ever, a holographic display of the time coming from Batman's gauntlet. Just use a watch fella

Gwenpool is one of the more entertaining books I've read in a while.

 

Legend of Wonder Woman vol. 2 has been canceled.

 

Black Canary in the new BOP (which is fantastic) "Trolls sit in dark caves lobbing insults and accusations at you. Fans let you know that THEY know best...Then again, who knows what I would have said if I was on twitter when they cancelled Veronica Mars."

Read Suicide Squad Most Wanted: Deadshot. Was better than expected, the last 2 issues were pretty cool concept.

 

Got Superman: Last Son of Krypton in the mail today. Adding it to the large pile of trades I own and need to read still.

 

Just finished Shortcomings by Tomine. He's really starting to become one of my favorite writers.

 

Thanks for the rec on Batwoman Elegy, I loved it. Probably liked the second arc a little bit more, I think it's up there with my favorite origin stories. She's a pretty great character.

 

Speaking of, I really should catch up on BW. I loved Elegy and the first couple issues of N52 which was essentially a continuation of that.

 

Yeah that's going to be my next goal. There also appears to be a BW story in Det Tec right after Elegy that wasn't in the collection so I need to search that out. and the Crime Bible thing.

 

It wasn't in the collection? I swore it was. I read the entire BW Tec run so maybe that's why I'm unaware hah

 

The trade I got has Tec 854-860, I know there's at least three more issues after that focusing on Batwoman and the artist appears to be Jock so I really want to read it. "Cutter" is the storyline...It also has Grayson Batman

 

Own but still haven't read Killing and Dying. Lately, the only indie reading I've done amidst my constant Marvel consumption is Jaime Hernandez's Love and Rockets. Next year, I need to work through the indie stuff I've been sitting on (though part of me wants to finish Jaime's L&R first).
