Got super cheap last-minute tickets for Joe Pera tonight!

 

I got super cheap David Cross tix for Sunday night.

 

Joe was so damn funny. He had two bits that absolutely bombed, but the crowd had his back so it was fine. Gotta love him.

 

Had free tickets for Nick Thune tonight but the show got cancelled. Went to see The Substance instead.

Got to see Jerrod Carmichael do an hour in NYC last night, he was testing out material for a new special. Could tell he was in the early stages of it but I liked a lot of it.

Gethards been working as an ambulance driver and the last time I saw him his closer was a long, INSANE story about something that happened. I would love if he did a comedy show about being an EMT, or a horror movie based on that story he told.

he moved back to a small town in jersey and they needed ambulance drivers so he started doing it? He’s talked about it the last two times I’ve seen him so he’s been doing it for a while

 

Not sure if he’s doing it out of necessity but wanted to say that there is a huge discrepancy between what each of our cult comedy heroes make. Some were born really rich, some have partners who are really rich, some made mega bank from the before times when the industry wasn’t shrinking and funneling all the money to the top of the pyramid, and some barely scrape by.

 

Excited for Scott, aside from his podcasts he liked to joke he’s been out of work since the CBB tv show went off the air
